Statenzaal Museumkwartier 's-Hertogenbosch

The Statenzaal or state hall – the former conference room of the Provincial States, has been fully restored and fitted out as an auditorium and wedding venue for Museumkwartier. The royal blue interior decoration and the furnishings − a lectern, a sound console and the furniture and fittings for a wedding ceremony – were designed by Bierman Henket. The pattern for the wall lining was designed by Kiki van Eijk and specially produced for the Statenzaal by Textielmuseum Tilburg. Outlines of figures from the paintings hanging in the hall are woven into the pattern in red stitching.
